I started my sessions with Armando in December 2017 and I am extremely pleased with my results. I have lost weight , I’m not as tired as I used to be and my strength has improved. 
Armando listens to what you want to achieve and tailors the sessions accordingly in order for you to reach your goal. Throughout the sessions, he gets you out of your comfort zone whilst also making sure that you have the correct form when performing the exercises.

I just want to start by saying that Armando is not only a great PT but genuinely a nice person too – even if he does take the mick out of me sometimes! But that’s what takes our sessions from good to great – the banter. 

At the beginning of my fitness journey I hated going to the gym, as I had low self-esteem and suffered with anxiety. I was terrified of the PT’s, thinking that they would judge me as I was so unfit (trauma from school I guess). But after winning a free session with Armando, my thoughts completely changed and here we are a year and a half later and I still have a training session with him every week. Not only has he helped me with my goal of losing weight but has helped so much with my confidence. I now enjoy and look forward to working out in the gym! I’m excited to start building strength, grow some muscle and to see how far I can push myself with Armando’s support.

Absolutely love having my PT’s with Mandy and can’t wait for gyms to re-open. I used to get anxiety going to the gym if it was really busy and it would put me off going, But since having them with Armando I look forward to every session. My gilfriend and i started with Armando back in may 2017 after a long time out of doing any fitness work. The main goal is to increase my strength and general fitness as well as to put on some weight. I’ve been really pleased with progress so far, after a couple of months i am already seeing a difference.

Armando is great to work with. He is very encouraging and good at pushing you that little bit further. However he is also very precise on form so i have no worries about injuries from doing anything incorrectly. he is very knowledgeable about the body, the exercises and also diet which is all very helpful.

Armando also listens carefully to what you as a client want and tailors the sessions to exactly what you need very well. His communication and organisation outside of sessions is also great. i would definitely recommend him as a PT all based on my experience so far   – especially if you are new to the gym or returning after a while out!

Been having sessions with this guy since the start of January and it’s fair to say, he’s developed me well. My motivation for the gym has improved massively thanks to him. Now I understand how to use cable weights like the shoulder/chess press properly. He’s also introduced how do perform the exercises using other equipment. If you want someone to push you, give you the motivation to develop you as a person, get bigger, stronger lose weight or gain muscle, I’d highly recommend having his guidance! He’ll listen to you and make sure that your goals in life are achieved!!!!!!!

I’ve had a few sessions training with Armando. Upon our first consultation we covered a vast number of subjects regarding my fitness a top priority being rehabilitation and strengthening me left shoulder which has been suffering with a winging scapula following multiple shoulder dislocations.

He educated me so much with not only new exercises but how to ensure i execute them with the correct form. Since then he has also helped me push myself beyond my limits in HIIT sessions and taught me to focus on the mind/muscle connection and to properly squeeze the muscle when lifting. I was only ever going to have a couple of sessions with Armando. I’d hurt my shoulder working out by myself and I’d had some physio on it but I was scared to injure it again. Armando was a PT in my gym and I’d seen him around. I got in touch with him and let him know I just wanted a couple of sessions to make sure my form was correct, he was ok with this. However, I enjoyed our couple of sessions so much that I came back again and a again and I plan on staying. He’s super professional and is very good at teaching good form, which I think is essential. He’s easy going, listens and is really friendly and this makes the sessions so much more enjoyable (minus the absolute pain he puts you through!) I would highly recommend Armando, I can swear at him all through my leg sessions (hate leg day!) and he’s still polite and professional! Can’t wait to keep working with Armando and to get stronger and stronger. 😊

I decided to do a bit of training in May 2017 and, to my surprise, got absolutely hooked on it. After 18 months of very hard work I’ve finally got my first 100kg lift!!

Few things to work on form wise – need to keep the back retracted and get the leg and back drive moving together – and they’re definitely not the prettiest reps. I’m pretty pleased considering i couldn’t even manage to lift the bar on its own 18 months ago however. This is just the start mind and there’s loads of work ahead to get some proper strength and size on but i’m absolutely loving it.

Massive shout out to Armando who is responsible for all this – if you want any training in the Cardiff area or even from further afield he’s definitely the man !

When I started with Armando back in the summer of 2018 I had used gyms before but didn’t have the greatest knowledge of what I needed to be doing and had no idea about form and what I needed to do to target certain areas. I was also suffering with some back problems.

Armando clearly knows his stuff. He puts a huge amount of emphasis on form in order to safely perform each exercise. my strength has massively improved but more importantly my back issues have all but gone. This has to go down to Armando for listening to what I wanted when we first met and tailoring my workouts to achieve those goals.

Very professional and you can tell he spends time thinking about what you need.
